Food for thought:
The hardest part of competing for me isn’t physical, it’s mental. It’s learning to be at peace with the fact that the way you look on stage isn’t the way you look the rest of the year. It’s understanding that whether you weight 100 or 130 pounds, you’re still YOU. Learning balance is the key to surviving this. Eat a cookie, or two, and move the hell on. Everything will work itself out in the end.
