Update on Group Fitness

Hi everyone,

I’ve been updating regularly on Intrepidly Fit’s Facebook, but I know I’ve neglected to update here, so this is what is currently happening:

Hurricane Matthew has had serious effects in the southern US, but it’s also sending some rain up north. Because the weather forecast for tomorrow (10/8) looks horrendous, we’ve decided to move our first Fall into Fitness session to Sunday (10/9) instead. We will continue with the preset Saturday schedule through the remainder of October after this weekend. After some loyal group fitness junkies caught wind that we might have to cancel due to weather, they were pretty upset. Thank goodness Sunday is to be a nice, but cool, day.

So if you were planning to attend this weekend’s session, just note that we will be meeting on Sunday at 9:00 am instead. If you’re curious and want to attend, but just haven’t bitten the bullet yet, email me at for more info and location of the Fall into Fitness sessions.

On a side note: I have been looking into local facilities with the space/capability to host classes so that we might be able to continue through winter. Thus far, classes are all outdoor and are at the mercy of the weather. I would love nothing more than to be able to grow this fitness group and offer more days/times year-round for sessions. We have a few places in mind, and are just waiting on more information ,etc. I hope to be able to spread good news about this venture in the very near future!

Thanks to everyone who has supported Intrepidly Fit and helped us to grow this past year. It’s amazing to see how far we’ve come in just a few short months, and it’s all because of those of you who took a risk and put a little faith in my dream.

Happy Friday and hope to see you all on Sunday!
